Bush pressures China as Burma toll rises

Mr Bush met Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi to pressure Burma's military rulers into ending its crackdown on anti-government protesters, the White House said.

During a brief meeting in the Oval Office, Mr Bush \"expressed his concern for the people of Burma and asked Minister Yang that China use its influence in the region to help bring a peaceful transition to democracy in Burma,\" said spokesman Gordon Johndroe.

I think Mr. Bush wanted the Chinese government to teach the Burmese dictators how to murder another 70 million people.
