don't abuse disabled parking bays was created by Karl
Asda is to start fining shoppers £60 for wrongly parking in disabled or parent-and-toddler bays.
The supermarket chain is waging war on lazy drivers who regularly hog the special zones.
Attendants will begin patrolling the priority parking spaces near store entrances from Monday.
Asda says drivers caught misusing them will have a penalty notice placed on their windscreens if they refuse to budge.
The company is the first retailer to start fining customers for flouting the parking rules.
Customer services manager Paul Hedley said: \"We have decided to take a stand to keep specialised parking bays available to those customers who need them.\"
Trials of the crackdown in Liverpool reduced the misuse of designated parking bays by 60 per cent.
Money from the fines, issued by contractors Town and Country Parking, will go to baby charity Tommy's and the Motability car scheme for disabled drivers.

We will see, the fact is Asda has to put in place parking regulations, they cannot demand the use of the blue badge. As you know the laws are the blue badge is not legal on private property.
Now my Asda has set up a parking regulation, they used our access group, if say your have a broken leg and need to use a wheelchair, you can use the car parking for the disabled, you can get a pass for three hours from reception. The rules are you must be able to prove your disabled, which is going to be fund.
Labour are to bring in next year a short term blue badge, which will be given to say somebody who might have a serious illness or disability but are likely to get better, thats better.
We all know the blue badge is abused in many different ways like people over sixty get a badge just because they are over sixty.
