Green Pumpkins for Halloween

Halloween will be a little greener than usual this year thanks to the soggy summer.
Pumpkins, normally bright orange, have failed to ripen thanks to the torrential rain of June and July.

green pumpkins stored inside in 25 degrees to try and turn them orange in time.

Surely this is wasting energy?

Many many years ago when I was a young boy I used a turnip for halloween, did anyone else?

I wish we have \"torrential rain\" this summer. We are on a Stage V water restriction. There is even talk about the possibility of raising the water restriction to Stage VI!
Well, my favourite pumpkin is not bright orange or even green, its white. Check this one out:

Post edited by: DAEMONICUSMEDICUS, at: 2007/10/10 10:57

Its in the news. It says, \"Man Wins Contest With 1,524-Lb Pumpkin\". I don't know why it is white either.
