needings friends who knows!!

Hello, I am new to this site, I have no clue to what I am doing or when it is time to come in to chat here. I came here today and no one was here so I not a clue what I am doing. I am just trying to reach out to people who have some clue to what I am going through. I have hydrocephalus, seizures, lupus..may I go on? My life has been living with my parents and well..hasn't been the best but they sure have been there for me when I need them. I have to say friends aren't easy to find with a disability. It seems as if they run when they find out you have something like this..so what do I do hide in the house all the time? I don't know I am just tired of hiding, tired of not having friends, tired of not being able to talk to people who know what I am going through...is anyone out there feel like me or is it just me? :dry:

Hi Angel, I'm glad you found this site, there are alot of people who do feel the same as you. I myself lost all my old school friends when I wrote on facebook about myself being diagnosied with Osteoporosis, I might as well of said I had a deadly virus because they all just never contacted me again. I hardly go out because my husband wraps me in cotton wool and I only get to go outside my house on weekends and when we are on holiday, other than that I leave the house to go to doctors & hospital appointments. So I do understand how you feel and if you ever wanna private message me you are welcome to. As the other ladies here stated already, you are not alone. We may all have different disabilities but on this site we are definitely trying to back each other up.
