Wow, I'm surprised you have anytime left in a day! What's the furthest radio you can get?

What ham rig do you have, what bands do you work, what antenna?
When I was a kid, about 60 years ago, I wanted a Ham license. The theory was fairly easy, but I am dyslexic and couldn't learn Morse code. Of course, it isn't necessary now. I studied Electrical Engineering and with a little study could probably pass the test. How much would it cost to get started with a small mobile unit?
