Heya, I'm Emrys. I'm from Florida in the US, but I live in South Carolina now. I'm generally just trying to look for a place to meet and talk to other disabled people. Most Discord servers run a bit too fast for me and it's overstimulating. I figured a forum might be a good alternative.
Outside of "why I'm here", I'm in university. I'm majoring in Information Technology (like Computer Science, but less math). I hope to make video games featuring disabled people as a career.
Disability-wise, I've got some neurodevelopmental stuff (ASD, ADHD-C, Dyslexia). The most bothersome physical thing is the peripheral neuropathy I'm now dealing with in my feet and hands. It's significantly worse in my feet. I used to be able to work a 4-hour shift with what I consider a normal amount of pain for standing for that long. Now I work a 4-hour shift of standing and I come home, I sit for a bit, I try to stand up and I can barely walk.
