PAY FOR WAPD?

Anyone that's familiar w/ WAPD knows that it's been a free disability website for a decade, or longer. It was always heavily used and a fine site.

Now, they got the brilliant idea (sarcasm intended) to charge $20 per year to gain access to the site. Some persons w/ disabilities will find that to be unacceptable and beyond their budgets. You'd think that advertisements would be enough revenue but, it seems not.

Their loss of members may be to Ablehere's benefit.

thanks for that link to that site .....my int.browser wasnt up to date!!! have up graded now i cant post in our chatroom anymore!!!!!!(yep im going crazy, i thought computers supposed to be logical!!!!!!)

so didnt look inside at this website,

capitalism rules the world...big business and money dominate.......they need to find a sponsor......and theeyve chosen to take that money from their users, most of whom will not have the funds so will be forced to move elsewhere.

Karl...how is this website affected by the need to survive with money ??????

This website is funded by me but hopefully in a year I'll get it back thru advertisments.
