If someone had said in those days that the cost of a loaf of bread would rise to over £1, we would have thought they were mad.:blink:

also when decimals come in you could still get more for you monny than today even tho the pound lost half its value

I went on a world Cruise on board the Queen Victoria...and still had change from 3 pence xxxx :whistle: :lol: :laugh:
