1 - My hard disk was NOT clogged up. And I only download necessary security updates.
2 - The person who built my computer IS an expert. He lectures at university on computer programming. He sets up and teaches about new programs for many large companies.
3 - The motherboard did not have a broken capacitor. It had one which appeared to be slightly faulty NEARLY TEN MONTHS AFTER IT WAS INSTALLED. And guess what, motherboards are only guaranteed for one year so it was replaced under guarantee.
4 - I do a systems clean up and defrag my computer ONCE A WEEK. I also regularly remove the case, AS TAUGHT, to clean out any dust from the inside of my computer, AS TAUGHT.
5 - I do NOT \"handle\" it to a REAL PROFESSIONAL - calling him \"so called\" is highly insulting by you. And he does not come here to \"give it a service once a year and charges for it\". He ONLY ever comes if I have a problem, and that is an extremely rare occurence.
6 - I have nothing to hide therefore why should I worry about him \"trawling\" through my information? And I don't do any banking online.
7 - It might cost £60 an hour where you live. It doesn't cost me a fraction of that for the person who built my computer to do anything that I can't do. You obviously live in a place where people way overcharge for basic services. Luckily I do not live anywhere near you.
8 - As for your comment about me being well off and can afford to chuck my money down the drain, I am a disabled pensioner, and that is all I get. No free prescriptions. No free Local Authority Taxes, no free housing or housing allowance, and no, I am far from well off and am extremely careful with what little I have. I don't even run a car, which I am sure you do. So you can shut up about what you think I am.
9 - I back up EVERYTHING onto an external hard drive, EVERY DAY AT 12 NOON.
10 - You say \"I buy cheap old pentium 4 towers locally for £25 each upgrade the memory buy a second hand 15 inch LCD monitor for £29 keyboard £4 and mouse £3 and get disavantaged people online who cant afford expensive computers and except for the cost of the hardware & internet security software I maintain the computers for free. I always advise against security updates and believe it or not none of them have any issues with their computers.\"
So you buy old discarded towers and bodge them up for resale. How very \"nice\" of you. A \"nice\" second-hand dealer.
I cannot be bothered to check to see when you joined Able Here, but I am very glad I haven't come across you before.
You are definitely a most unpleasant know-it-all who is just trying to show off. Just because I am over 60 and a woman at that, does not mean that I do not know anything about computers.
You aren't clever. You are just obnoxious. And I won't bother to read any more of your prattish posts.
And I still think you are talking a load of shite.

I thought you wern't going to read anymore of my posts?
Why on earth would I be intertested in reading you profile?
at least one person was grateful for some advice.
and even though I didnt expect it said thank you.
No I wasnt trying to out do anyone.
you have been attacking me personally in every post I have made I was not intentionally doing the same to you.
I at no time intended the posts to be personally pointed at you although this seems to be how you have taken them.
as for selling dodgy computer towers YOU COULDN'T BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH THEY ARE ALL GUARRENTEED.
glad to see you are taking care of your PC.
best wishes.
