Back to Square One! was created by
Went and saw my doctor on Friday afternoon thinking I was just going to collect my meds to conquor the bacteria that was plaguing my tummy. Instead when I saw the doctor he opened the report and said well the results for the bacteria are negative!! I had to ask him to repeat himself as I thought I was hearing things. I told him I was under the impression they had found the bacteria in my stomach because the doctor told me so in the hospital. And the doctor said 'he shouldn't have said that as the test for it had to be done 1st.' He gave me a medicine to try and bring the swelling down in my stomach, and sent me on my way feeling totally shell shocked,so was my husband. So I'm now back to square one, and I've seceduled a phone consultation with my regular GP to see what we should do next, which I think will be go and see my consultant again and see what he wants to do next as these stomach cramps and tummy swelling isn't nothing!

Thanks Guys, Got a phone consultation with my normal GP on Friday morning and hoping to sort something out with her either get an appointment with my consultant sorted or even arrange to have the laparoscopy done to check for endrometerosis as I had it around 10yrs ago and that's what caused me to have my hystroectomy. The consultant has told me it only takes a small bit to be missed from the op to start to spread again and latch on to say the bowel or stomach and it can start causing trouble again. So I'm headging my bets on it being endro that is causing all this. As I type with a hot beanie against my stomach!! Thanks again for your support guys, your great!!
