I am being really pushed by all sides, to get mine, & I wont, due to peoples reactions.
(and the thing is, I would only use it when I really needed to, I would not dream of missusing it, how bloody silly am I !!!)
I already have awful reactions, when I exit a diasabled toilet, just because I can walk, & look NORMAL !!!!
I will put myself through agony all day if I'm out, just not go through dealing with peoples reactions.
If they could only see, what me going for a simple thing in life, as a wee !! entailed, they would not tutt at me again, in fact they would be bloody shocked.
Sometimes I feel like dragging them in to watch!!
I hate the fact that people judge each other by the outside picture, and because of this, I have refused to apply for disability until recently, & still refuse to get a blue badge.
Okay finished my rant, feel calmer already !!

now, in the US, things appear to be more geared towards the HC's, sometimes \"normal\" folks get left out!
I mean look at parking! There is three different types of HC parking over there, 1 for wheelchair users, 1 for them wot is hobbling but need extra space to get out, and a semi normal 1 for them wot is ok-ish but can't walk far.
And woe betide you if ya park in the wrong one!
go for it gal, if y'is entitled, get it!

Post edited by: Posh, at: 2009/01/02 07:16
