Can anyone share some of their experiences talking to non-disabled women. I have social phobia and have fears of being embarrassed, laughed at or embarrassing the person. Positive responses only please.

Key is that you yourself feel comfortable and open for conversation and they just respond as they do, overthinking is actually a conversation killer, you need to be presentable & respectful, and at the same time comfortable in having silence for the moment or let her or him to begin the next topic. It's a very big subject but that's the core of it.

I would take the woman's lead. If she seems to want to continue a conversation then feel free to keep talking. It is as simple as that.
