Schizophrenia

Hi! I have schizophrenia for 32 years now. I'm stable on my meds and work part time as a CNA. I also have type 2 diabetes for two years now. I don't take medication for that though. I just watch my diet. I'm kind, caring, trustworthy, loyal to my friends and sympathetic. I would like to make new friends here. I have a small family here in Florida. I've never been married or had kids. I'm 57 years young but feel like I'm much younger. I live in Tampa Florida with my two cats. Hope to hear from you soon!

I'm interested in making new friends on here. I like to watch comedians on the TV, as well as shows on Hollywood (TMZ), or documentaries about different singers or actors. I also love dogs and cats and like watching movies about them too. I used to do volunteer work with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I recently joined a senior center where I have done diamond dotting, yarn art, Tai Chi and water coloring. I only have one nephew whom I love like my own son. I also like experimenting in the kitchen by cooking something different every week. I try to bake a cake or pie occasionally. I used to be on the Keto diet, but now i just try not to eat to many carbs or sugar because I have Type 2 diabetes. I have lost 50 pounds since 2023. I have two cats who are like my daughters. They are my companions. My 13 year old Chihuahua mix passed away in February 2024.
