Good Old Days

yes we all looked forward to are paypackets ..and if borrowed monny during the week for booze or fags payed them back then borrowed again on wensday.. because after paying for bedsit and food had bugger all left ..it was only when I got married that I became the lender not the borrower .:laugh:

wonder if the pawn shops will make a comeback ..that is how ppl borrowed monny yrs ago if they where broke

I think there is a good possibility.One old chap used to pawn his suit, then get it back when he got paid:)

I dont know about Dorrie but we use to have cinemas that where called the flea pit.. where I lived yrs ago I got in free had family on the door ..not sure why they where called that ..also there was saturday morning pictures which I think was geared more towards the boys personaly as they where westerns and othere male films
