I think being single is ok as you are free to do what you want to do.

I think also being single can be lonely sometimes.

I am still looking for the right woman who doesnt judge a book by the cover

Dear Karl. Let me not to agree with you.
To be single is absolutely not the same to be alone. In my view.
Yeah, I'm single. I've no either husband or boyfriend. But it doesn't mean I'm alone. No way! I've many friends. I've many takings. I'm very sociable. And I absolutely don't feel myself alone!
All the best Julia.

Post edited by: Julia66rus, at: 2007/05/30 21:51

I get what you’re saying Karl. As active and social as one might be, it is still not like having the love and emotional connection with a partner. I don’t think anybody really wants to be alone – no matter how fulfilled their life is.

BEING SINGLE

I am single, I have very few friends, I would consider myself to be lonely, but I try for it not to effect my life, I go on with things as best as I can. Lonilness is quite hard to understand & to comprehend at times, for people who have a lot of company around them.

They dont notice being lonely as much. There are people who have loads of people in their lives, which they can be lonely. Like the saying you can be lonely in a room of 100 people.

ALISON

I agree, I guess being lonely is relative term. One can be surrounded by family and friends and still be lonely. Lonely or not I still think that people are looking for love.

Good luck Karl, and don't ever go to USA. In America, everybody judges each other by the way he/she looks. \"you are what you look on the outside\" as far as the Americans are concern. That is one major reason I am immigrating out of there.
