Being single

Karl, i am mid way through a divorce and i have now been alone for just over 2 and a half years.

I found at first that i was very alone shortly afterwards though i thought, well i,ve still got my son then my son moved out within 6 months of his dad leavin, yet again i was alone,however i am now alone once more,i find that i now have total control over the remote control and i can watch what i want when i want!!

On the other hand i do miss having a man in my life,i miss being cuddled,i miss having someone to talk to and i do notice that friend,s i knew before have all but dissapeared,{ they think i,ll take their husband,s and boyfriends}so now i,m looking to meet more people men and women and make new friends, i do like being single but if i,m honest i do miss having a partner off the opposite sex.

Being single can be fun at times, but also can get quite lonely, some nights you just want someone to cuddle ...but at least being single is alot less stress

Sometimes being single can be painful too!

I wholeheartedly agree with alot of the points being made on this,it is in all of our human natures to love and be loved in a powerful way,so we try at it..and sometimes it just doesn't work,but we can't let that part of us die and give up..we all just have to keep trying and believe that someone will take you for what you're worth..without failed expectations or secret agendas..I have tryed a few times,and refuse to become jaded and bitter..we should all try and remember that we have value and deserve to be understood and loved.

yah, and even if you have some looks or talent , all these Americans just look at is your wallet, and if you say you get disability ,have one, or any little heath problem, they run like scared rabbits. They're all selfish and want looks, health, fancy own place and car, and if one of these things is missining , you can pretty much leave the country or just masturbate/get a toy.

Being single and divorced and living independently in
wheelchair can have a bad effect on ones mental status
its a very lonely arena without that special someone.

I hope being single isn't as bad as it was when I was younger because it pretty much looks like my husband and I will be separating after the whole Holiday thing is done. I can't live with a guy who has only wanted to be friends for the last decade. Just can't do it any more.

Awww I am sorry, how long have you been married?

Thanks, Karl. It has been 32 years. Our 2 daughters are grown and living on their own.

My god, I thought you was about 45! You are looking good for your age.

Are you looking forward to living on your own?

I'll be turning 55 in February. But like most Americans, I'm a bit overweight. (I think the fat fills out the wrinkles). Anyway, I have mixed feelings about living alone. I'm scared and relieved at the same time. As it is, most of the things I love in life I end up doing alone anyway.

You look awesome, Jana. Being single is not so bad after all. I've been single for the last 12 years. It takes a while to get used to it. Like any change it may seem a bit daunting but you're a strong lady.
