I am 62 female and have been legally blind since birth due to Retinopathy. I have lost more vision over the years and retired from work in 2004. I have a lot of generalized pain from arthritis, bursitis, degenerative disk disease, and fibromyalgia. I have used a power wheelchair when I lived on my own. Now I use a white cane and on bad days a walker. I get real tired easy. But I am happy most of the time and my faith in Heavenly Father keeps me going. I have 4 adult children. I am single now and live with my youngest daughter who is my caregiver. I enjoy being a pen pal and welcome all ages, male and female, and disabilities or no disabilities. I like to email or snail mail. Instant message and chat is difficult because the print size on most of the programs is not big enough. It is mostly taxing and trying to do.

I am interested in writing to pen pals. I am not looking for a relationship or marriage. I am currently finding plastic canvas easy and enjoy doing that whilst listening to digital books or classical easy listening instrumental music. I will watch movies. I like historical fiction and non fiction and science fiction. I spend a lot of time doing family history, genealogy, and have a tree on ancestry dot com with over 15,000 names that I am directly or indirectly related to. I enjoy helping others with their searches.

I like classical, baroque, instrumental and easy listening. I used to like all kinds, but the classical is more relaxing to me now.

I enjoy the old classics, Science Fiction, period dramas, and historical movies. My favorites are "Jane Eyre" "Possession", "Avatar", all Star Wars,Star Trek and "The Dresden files."

I enjoy things like Discovery channel and the old movies.

Same as the movies, currently reading young adult novels such as Harry Potter, the Twilight series and Hunger Games. I enjoyed all those as movies as well.
