A true story when I was about 7...I gave the Rag n Bone man my mums best overcoat for a couple of goldfish...Corrr did I get it xxxx
As for the Bone..it was collected in the realy old days to be ground down and made into Bone-meal for the gardens xxxx

I can remember having fish and chips with loads of salt and vinguar chucked on them .. all wraped up in news paper wich gave them a lovly taste also remember asking for the gribbles

Did anyone ever have a scone and chips,it was what you had if you could'nt afford fish.It was two large slices of potato with a small bit of fish in between, then battered and deep fried,(not really the healthy option):lol:
