Friends

Friends always make you grin,
They never make you cry.
They're more like a twin,
They never ever lie.

Friends are always true,
My friends are my life,
They help when you're blue,
They're better than a wife!!

Well at least you can tell I didn't get it from the internet - it's too naff for that!!

CV

Arithmetic is a dubious skill
its sum can be devastation

Subtract opportunity from
ambition total with frustration.

There was an old man from Kent,
Who some claimed was quite bent.
He stole from big shops,
Then ran from the cops,
But to prison he was still sent!!

There was an old lady called Maggie,
who blouse was looking quite saggy,
where she'd hidden a bird,
which seemed too absurd,
it was frozen
and so was her top!

Just have to say is a true story, somebody I know was caught shop lifting with a frozen chicken and bag of potatoes under her jumper, most uncomfortable. lol xxx

Sleep

With Blinking eyes,she comes to life,
awaken by her naughty cats twice!
This is not the only day, it's the fifth!
And now their Mummy is rather miffed.
Sleep is such a precious thing,
needed like a bird needs his wing.
We need enough to get through our day,
Without we're useless when it's taken away!

Cold

Fingers numb and hands feeling of ice,
Coat buttoned up, scarf wrapped tight,
opening the door the cold hits your face,
But you venture on must get to your place.

The cold has many disguises many different ego's,
depending on the day your sure to met one,
So wrap up, get ready put your armour on,
The colds ready to fight, but it's a fight you've won.

My Laptop

My Laptop is my best friend,
even though it can drive me round the bend!
Spouting stuff I don't understand, do this,update that.
It scares me to think it wins the spats.
You need to be a geek to understand it all,
otherwise I would through the laptop at the wall!
I might as well admit it now,
My laptop is the boss, holy cow!!
