I wish you well Glenn. Love is expectedmand found in the most unexpected places but watch out for charlatans who profess undying love but arereally using you. Follow your gut instinct and don't be influenced by the first callers. If it is too good to be true, it probably is! Ask lots of questions and analyse the answers. Think very hard. Does this person fit the bill? Does he or she really come across as somene who really wants to be with me or even could be with me? Are we compatable, both geographically and yes, physically, emotionally and socially? What are their limitations and expectations? What are mine? Some people say they can cope with disability but when it comes to the reality they can't. They may be good with others but when it comes to reality and close contact they, you cannot cope. I know. I was in a marriage for many years before I became disabled and although he had coped with others disabled as a friend, carer etc. he could not cope with me and all the inconvenience of life that disability can bring. Suddenly he made me invisible. Bubbadog is very lucky and there are good people out there. I've since learnt. But ask friends, family and yourself, especially, does this person suit me? Am I right for this person? Do we have a future together long term? If you are in doubt, give it time and make your life fuller, if you are able. Try to enlarge your social life. Both sexes. This gives you a more balanced view on your future. You owe this to yourself and will help you to make wise decisions. And hopefully you will find enduring love for yourself and for your partner. Your soul-mate. I truely wish you well and good luck. Good judgement and good love.

No, no you are totally right! But after being married 15 years (this weekend!) and being with the same person for 20 years you pick up little clever idea's like my favourite. Rather than get in to a fight with said partner over who thinks of the good idea, when it was 100% obviously your idea let your partner think it was their idea and let them take the praise but knowing it was your idea all a long!!
