Hi, I'm a moderator for this site and sometimes it goes a little quiet around Bank Holidays so please bear with the site and you will see more members joining in!

I agree with you Julia, there was a time when I hated being alone and thought I needed a relationship, but now, I live with my 2 cats, who are my best friends and wonderful companions!
I have several online friends to 'talk' to and don't feel any need to have 'physical' friends!
Having people around would be an intrusion into my privacy and peace and quiet and would drive me mad!
As long as I have my little 'Furboys', I never feel alone!

ive been single for over 6 years yea sometimes i do get lonely but i have friends/family to take my mind off of things ... waiting for that special some one would be like waiting for a bus..... wait for one and 3 come along just gotta take the right journey

I also have great neighbours who have a key to our home and pop round when there okay, they don't come round when they get poorly so I don't catch their germs. We have a good relationship with them since we moved house.

i think at time its great to have both i like my me time as well and someone dropping in sometimes is good too

Yes, I love quality self time...
However I love being with friends, family, neighbors and stay overs.
So having both is ideal and/or one in itself is super fine.

I agree with you 100%, I"ve been divorced since 2006, and even though I see majority of girls daily, theirs a major difference of a relationship and friends.
