I'm 50. My Name is James. I lost my child in 2019 of June. I used to be in the Army. Then I worked in Corrections, and did a few other things but kept falling back into corrections. It was a job that I had almost 20 years in. I could not do it anymore after my son took his life. I tried other jobs. I worked in a couple of factories. I was not good at those jobs. I also was a person that could be disrespected. This hurt me in a lot of ways. I won't get into them all here.

.I wouldn’t call myself an introvert, but rather a selective talker. I open up only when the conversation feels real, when the person across from me speaks the same language of thought and depth. Philosophy is one of my greatest interests. This is my third account now and hopefully it work this time hahahah btw I’m 20 years old and was born without my right arm. These days I use prosthetic arms and feel confident living my life. I’m a friendly and talkative person who enjoys meeting new people and hearing their stories. I’d love to connect with others who have disabilities, especially those who have lived with them since birth, so we can share experiences, perspectives, and everyday life stories. I believe there’s a lot we can learn from each other, and it’s always great to meet people who can relate to some of the same experiences.
I was born with Ectodermal Dysplasia. I have no sweat glands. Overheating causes me to become catatonic for up to 20 hours. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg that is me. Due to this condition, I’m a shut-in. I’ve had Covid 5 times, and I now have Long Covid. But I am starting to recover. I’ve had Fibromyalgia since 2001, but I have almost completely gotten over it and no longer experience symptoms. At 15 months old I took a header out of my crib and damaged my spinal cord. The growth area of all of my cervical vertebrae were damaged and never developed correctly. So, my head lists to the right a bit. I can’t feel the temperature, which makes life interesting. I have no balance, which can be fun if your game. And I have no depth perception or spatial orientation. Other than that I get around and function fairly well. And I am grateful for that.
